April 1 Kiev will host the 14th annual festival "French spring", which runs until the end of the month. During this period, the Ukrainians will be able to evaluate street performance, musical performances and the best films made in France.
1 April
Opening of an acrobatic performance of "Galileo" at St. Sophia square, 20:30.
Air acrobatic performance from the company Deus ex machina promises to be no less spectacular and popular among Kyiv residents than its predecessors – the opening performances of the past. During the performance, acrobats will perform in the air, hanging on a huge sphere. The plot revolves around the story of Italian 17th century astronomer Galileo about the invention of the theory of heliocentrism, about how our universe is constructed. And all this will be at the height of 15 and 30 meters above the ground with light special effects and breathtaking stunts.

The French group Deep Forest creates music that plunges into a state of happiness and peace. Their style has been described as world music or toelectronics. The band Deep Forest, was founded in 1992, has made an enormous contribution to the development of French musical history and in the world as well. In fact, they were the pioneers of world music and authors of reference for this area of the track Sweet Lullaby.

The concept is simple – the audience is invited for 6-7 hours to enjoy a selection of the best French short films on the street during the whole night. Special emphasis the program makes on the tapes that came to light recently. Most movies from this event was presented at the international film festivals in Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, new York and Toronto. Fantastic dramas, comedies, animated films – everyone will find something to their liking. The event is jointly organized with the French Institute in Ukraine. All films are shown in original language with subtitles.
Comedy Noemi Saglio "mothers and Daughters", where the Oscar-winning actress Juliette Binoche played and six-time nominee for "Cesar" Lambert Wilson opens the festival.
29 April
Street performance "Extraordinary machines" — the duet of dancer and machine-excavator from the company Beau Geste, the place will clarify closer to the date of the event.
Experimental dance called "Fancy car" was created by French group Beau Geste. Inspired by childhood memories, when a huge machine seemed a limit of dreams, choreographers Dominique Boivin and Philip Presso created a wonderful dance, symbolizing the fragile coexistence of man with the huge machines.
